I work at a dealer that has a 98 Type R that was mostly stripped then put back together part way with incorrect interior. Still a five lug but due to front end damage that happened in the parking lot being pushed around it's a good candidate for a JDM front. IIRC the cams were removed from the engine as well.

They want to get rid of it but don't really know what the car is worth so I am turning to the professionals here in the forum that would know.

Mileage? Cams are gone? Does it even run? I'd offer $6000 and haggle for $6750.

Like I said with my history in cars I wouldn't consider it much more than a rolling chassis since it has the wrong interior in it and other issues.

 

I wouldn't pay more then 4k. Shoot my Itr is for sale for 8k obo complete with clean title.
