Ok so I am/was in the process of doing a wire tuck on my four door but I decided to hold off until I get the motor in and what not just for the "because" factor. Can I just wrap electrical tape tightly around the wires scrunched together in layers of 2-3 and get away with it? I don't need my car to go on fire as I am driving with my girlfriend to the movies somewhere.

im a little confused. do the wires still have the insulation on them? if so then yeah i dont see it being a problem. much of the stock wiring is just taped together anyway
