Intake Resonator Delete Power Gains/Losses
I took out my intake resonator a couple weeks ago and I was wondering if anybody knew if I got any power gains or losses? I drove around in heavy rain and my street actually flooded the other day when I was parked on the street and I haven't had any problems with sucking up water. I can't really feel any difference in power, only noticeable difference is the big change in engine tone/noise level at wot when I get into Vtec.
Would I get any gains if I put in a new exhaust? Like I know an aftermarket exhaust will increase power over a stock exhaust but what I'm saying is will the resonator delete increase or decrease the effect of the exhaust and will the exhaust increase or decrease the effect of the resonator delete.
Also where can I get those damn clips that hold in my splash guard? I looked at autozone and the ones they had were either too long or the head was too small. And is there a way other than popping them off with a flat head screw driver that doesn't always break them?
Car is a 2002 AV6 Coupe by the way.
Thanks.

No, you aren't going to see any real performance gains by removing a resonator.
Just buy the fender lining clips from eBay or Honda dealer.
