I'm going to have everything checked for sure. But I am having some slight accelerating issues and a weird noise. Probably will also need an alignment now too. We both have AAA so it should work out smooth. I hope.

Maybe your axle or CV joints got damaged. Hopefully the shock didn't make it to the transmission. It looks like your right front wheel took most of the hit.

I went to get some estimates today just to get an idea what this repair is going to cost and I was quoted 2 grand! Now unfortunately I won't be getting a check to my name, but they will send the check to the choice of my auto repair shop? Tomorrow I'm going to wait for my claim rep to find out if the other driver admitted fault so I can get a free rental car (otherwise I don't because I don't have rental car coverage). She better! It was 100% her fault, there is just no way around that, but I guess we will see. We both have AAA, so I'm hoping this goes smooth. Any other tips? As far as checking for engine problems, etc?

the only thing on that side is the tranny i doubt a minor accident like that messed anthing up with that but if you got the money to your name you could repaint that get new bumper and refresh your suspension

What all is on the quote? Body work, suspension work and painting can be pretty expensive so a high quote doesn't necessarily mean that much is actually wrong.

Here some of it, this shop didn't mention suspension in this print out. But another shop did talk about possibly having new suspension on the right side. Along with a new axle and what else that might have gone bad.

Should of told th company you weren't sure who you were taking it to yet. If it was my car I'd be able to fix it with a new wheel and everything for $500 or less. Then you come out on top by a mile.

The only thing I would hope is that if the wheel took most of the hit, that the rear main beam is not bent. Good luck with the fix.

I haven't yet. But don't they just send the check to the shop once you choose a shop?

Depends on the insurance company. My last x-dent I received the check in my name even thou I told them not too. I qouted your damage at about $2300 insurance wise as they try not to short cut and go by the book. You could also be looking at more since the wheel took the hit. And insurance will replace all parts to fix it. You might be looking at a suppelment check as you really do not know whats wrong with the passenger side and that is not included in the qoute above till you start to drive it and you find futher damage.
