limp mode problem.??

limp mode problem.??
i may be buying this car and the kid is saying the car will go into limp mode randomly and its throwing the code for the fuel injector system . what would i have to change on that because out of my honda's i have never ran into that problem where it runs into limp mode . little advice please.
