Goal: Test wire harness for voltage that should turn on fuel pump.

Can anyone tell me if i'm looking in the right spot and if I am which wire do I need to test to see if my harness is working to turn the fuel pump on?

Iirc, that's the wrong spot. You'd be testing the sending unit there.

 

Incorrect... the fuel pump power goes through there. Otherwise you would have to drop the tank.......... It's the yellow/black wire - the yellow/white is sending unit... The blacks are ground. (This is all of course if my memory serves me correct.)

Btw there is a tiny hole in the yellow/white one which means the other guy was right too haha. I tested that one first.. then I was like "ugh idk what i'm doing. I need to find what these each are for!"
