for the grill on the 8th gens, you are supposed to remove the bumper also. I have seen folks do it without removing the bumper, but the factory manual says to remove the bumper to access some grill screws.

THANK YOU! I'd heard that the bumper had to come off- ;-( Not worth it it me. Any way around that nightmare??? I'm almost there and I just want to pull (too hard) the thing out! And my hair!
