Full size? Half rad?

Did you burb and fill the system properly?

Are both of your hoses warm at operating temp? One or the other?

Could mean your new thermostat isn't opening.

There's your problem. I've used two autozone t-stats in my EF before and they both did this to me. Go get you a Honda t-stat.

did you install it backwards?

the big end of the thermostat should face the engine and the small end should face the rad hose

if you installed it backwards, the wax pellet in the stat will read the colder coolant outside the engine and not the boiling coolant inside the engine and will never open up to let coolant flow
