Default 90 dx gsr swap NOT your typical IAB question

Ok, so i am in the process of performing and 94 gsr swap into my buddies 90 auto CRX dx.

The one question i have has to do with the IAB system.

I've done all my research and have all my pinouts and i got the wiring on the motor side nearly complete. I plan on making this all look as OEM as possible as far as the wiring goes...

The whole time i've been doing this i've seen what has to happen as far as the wiring goes for the IAB, in fact i have wiring ran for it, my problem is that I cant find the damn IAB on the manifold (to clearify, i've never seen what a IM with an IAB looks like). I have absolutely everything wired from the motor into the original DX harness for this car.

I dont have internet at the house so i couldnt just bust out and look it up yesterday when i couldnt find it, but now that i am at work i have looked into it and i know what an IM is suppose to look like with the IAB system intact.

Considering this IM as a 3 piece design is the best way for me to look at it, after seeing what this manifold is suppose to look like, and thinking about the IM in question, i have come to realize that the middle piece (containing the butterfly valves i assume) which has the diaphram bolted to it is completely missing along with the solenoid and vacuum tank that goes with it.

Its like someone pulled the manifold apart, and reassembled it without the center piece that is sandwiched between the two main halves and we didnt get the solenoid or vacuum tank with the swap.

Now i understand that without the IAB on this manifold and even with the S2 or equivilent IM, that with a stock motor i would be sacrificing low end torque, not that i want that, but my question here is:

Can i run this motor the way this manifold is without the center section containing the IAB?

I only ask because it would be hard to find just the parts i need without sourcing a whole IM, and i've already priced the parts here at work and even with my discount, its not worth it...

P.S. i think guy we got this swap from had it "ready to drop in" as far as he knew it but the more i did, the happier i am that i did double check everything that is going on, but im guessing he had it in his mind to just put the two halves of the IM together and run it without the IAB

It will run fine without it, the losses will be minimal especially in a light crx vs an integra chassis it was meant for.
Won't even throw a cel so no worries in that department

Ok thanks guys, I think im gonna go ahead and have the car wired for the IAB in the event that we decide to run it in the future and just tuck the connector away under the motor for the time being.
