Car starts then dies when you hit the gas then wont srtart for about 15 min
I just bought a 1993 Civic EX coupe that has what i was told was a D16z6 in it. I went to start it today and it shut right off so i tried to start it again and it wouldn't, so i let it sit for a while and it started but when i tap the gas pedal it shut back off and then would crank but not start. I have no idea what could be causing this the only thing i did notice is that when driving rev limiter hits at about 6,200 Rpm's and i thought the D16Z6 should hit rev limiter at 7,200 Rpm's. also i can't really hear v-tec hit, car has a CAI, Header and cat-back. Any help would be great full. hanks for your time.
