my motor is not idling right. even after it warms up when i come up to a stop, the revs go up and down. nothing really big, just enough to be annoying. on the vafc the map readout goes down along with the increase in rpms. i thought it might be a vacuum leak but why would it be going up and down. could it be the pcv valve/hose? any suggestions? thanks

 

sounds like a vacumm leak..you throwing any codes?? You running rich/lean/??

Could use some more info on your car though.

 

ditto, fast idle valve is my guess too. Need more info on your car to help further though.
