Default CEL w/ codes 22 & 65. Looking for some help...

Alright so I've got a 96 ex w/ a d16y8. Recently I've been throwing a CEL for code 12 & 65. My idle is erratic and the car is running rich. I've pulled the IACV and cleaned the screen with no such luck also I pulled one from the junk yard and swapped it over but no bueno. Been chasing my tail for the past few weeks researching and what not but can't come up with anything. When I swapped the engine in all was fine for awhile then all the sudden it came out of no where.

I've got an exhaust leak right between the header and cat, could this be causing any of my codes? Also I replaced the radiator, maybe I didn't bleed the system good enough and thats throwing the code 12? I'd just like to get this turd running half way decent again since I drive alot for work. Any help would be apprechiated. Thanks

Double check those CEL codes. Code 12 is for the EGR system, which your Civic should not have if it's stock.

I checked them 3 times today while I was at work and I always got 12 & 65. I thought I read somewhere it could be the IACV causing my problems but when I got a different one nothing changed. I should also mention that if I clear the codes and turn over my ignition to the accessories; not actually turning the engine on, after a few seconds the CEL will pop up.

Again, a stock Civic EX should never throw code 12. That by itself is a problem. Post a video of the blinking CEL with the service connector jumped. Also post a picture of your ECU.

Here's a link to the video of the CEL's.

As for the ECU, its dark and I couldn't get a good pic. But the Ecu was labeled as follows:
37820-P2P-A31
921-108870

I've got another P2P ecu and it does the same thing if I plug it in.

You sure that's not a code1 and a code 2?

Wow.. I'm retarded lol I guess that'd be a 22 and not a 12... so that looks to be a vtec oil pressure switch?

Yep, codes 22 and 65. Title edited.

Check for low engine oil and the resistance of the secondary O2 sensor heater element.
