Default FRONT Wheel Hub and Bearing

Hello all,

I have a 1991 Honda CRX Si with 92-93 Integra GS-R Swap.

I am looking for a FRONT Wheel Hub and Bearing for a 92-93 GS-R (No ABS), because it turns out they swapped everything from the GS-R. I not knowingly bought a CRX Si Front Wheel Hub and Bearing and it is too small.

I cannot find this anywhere on Advance Auto, Autozone, or eBay. Can someone point me in the right direction? A good OEM replacement that doesn't cost an arm and a leg would be nice.

Thanks!

Rear hub assemblies are available, but nothing for the front. This sucks! I find it hard to believe that this part is not more readily available... Calling the dealer sounds expensive.

All 2nd-gen Integras, whether '90, '91, '92, '93, RS, LS, GS, GS-with-leather, GS-R, 3-door, 4-door, ALB, non-ALB, whatever... use the exact same knuckle, hub, and wheel-bearing.

This may help you locate an aftermarket part.

You let the bearing get too noisy and it spun on the hub, right?

^^thanks but the only front hub and bearing I can find is for 94+ integra. boggles my mind how something like this isn't available.

I never noticed the front making noise since I owned it, but realized the bearing was bad while we were in the process of changing the clutch.

here is the front wheel bearing for the 90-93:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/200494798600...ht_1223wt_1164

If I could only find the hub now..I messaged the seller asking him if they happened to have one.

I'm curious why you need a hub. Those generally last forever unless the bearing seizes and spins in it.

Les Schwab did one for me - they have a press for doing it.. took 'em about 1/2 hour and he charged $40.

Friend of mine had a press at his father-in-laws, so having watched the first one we did the second ourselves.

Long as you have the press, not bad.

Getting the inner bearing race off the hub was interesting. We both used a 3" grinder to cut it diagonally (not all the way thru) so that we could then take a chisel and hammer to tap/spin it off. The cut loosened it so it would move.

You're thinking of the REAR hub/bearing combo, which comes as one-piece. The front bearing comes all by itself and must be pressed onto the hub and into your steering knuckle.

I'm thinking the hub is hard to find outside of the dealer because nobody ever replaces them.

any shop that has a press should do it for $40 or less if you have the assembly out of car
