will a beaks tie bar fit my rt wagon?
I have a 91 RT4WD civic wagon and well I just really want one of these but my room mate said I should ask first kuz he said "uh...you have a rear diff to clear back there..."
I did some searching all I could find is these two threads:
http://hondacivicwagon.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=13959
https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/will-beaks-tie-bar-clear-awd-2773196/
and yeah...no clear answers.
Here is what im looking at:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BEAKS-HYPER-...#ht_3320wt_952
would one of you guys know if it will fit/clear? stupid question i bet...

hey i got a 91 rt wagon as well.
curious about the answer too.
if you do end up getting this make sure you take lots of pics and document the install for the rest of us.

Will fit if you move/relocate the exhaust hanger that is connected to the rear subframe(or whatever it's called)
No point in getting one unless you just want to waste money on looks since that piece is extremely tough and very sturdy.
Your call, your car, your money. To each their own.
Good luck with purchase

Do it and post results, i want to see it fit.
It will physically fit but you need to remove the exhaust hanger as stated above. I mounted one to my wagon for fun but never ran it as it was dragging on the ground.
Oh, and yes they are useless. Looks kool doe

They drag? I know they sat kinda low but how bad did it drag/scrape? I'm not slammed just lowered enough that I don't have wheel gap. Was your wagon dumped?
