Wheel security
So I recently just bought some wheels and i'm pretty iffy about not having enough security for my car especially with all the "stolen car, wheels, etc" I've been hearing and I don't even have a garage. I've been considering a ton of options like a set of $350 lock lug nuts but it's too pricey. Then there's the whole different lug nut thing and that only just slows them down but doesn't prevent it. Is there any other options out there?
I was about to ask the same.
I have after market lock lug nuts, but they are for my aftermarket wheels.
I'm looking for some OEM Honda lock lug nuts, with the acorn Honda profile for my HX rims.

You should be able to get a set of keyed Honda lug nuts from your local Honda dealership.

Locking Lug nuts wouldn't be a bad idea, here are some really cool ones.
I'll probably be getting some next year to keep my Volks safer.
Edit: Much cheaper on Ebay

Highly recommended for both street and track enthusiasts.

locking lug nuts are a dime a dozen, not all are created equal. Fact is many stock honda locking lug nuts share the same key, or actually may only have a total of 5 different ones in total. Another thing is if you ever lose most wheel keys, you can always use a bigger 12point socket and hammer the damn thing over it to remove the lock. So the whole idea about wheel locks are a just use as a deterrent.

Now on another note, i'm using the PIAA locks and there is no possible way i can remove the damn lock if i wanted to without the lock. The way my rim setup is, that there is no clearance, to do the method above.
They can get the lock off if they really want to but for the most part the quick wheel thieves aren't gonna have different sized sockets and a hammer with them so most likely it will slow them down.
thanks guys! but is there such thing as a set of lug nuts with their own specific key? meaning that no one else can get the key unless they have the serial number of that set. sorry if i'm explaining it confusing! lol.
There are plenty, to be honest. Just Google "locking lug nuts", and you'll find quite a few. There are a couple companies out there that produce magnetic locking lug nuts, as well, which are a little more elaborate.
To my knowledge, this doesn't exist.
You can always have your own cut. And then you'll really wonder why you wasted the money when the thieves just bash a 12 point socket over them and take the wheels off anyway. Locks just slow thieves down, and pretty much all of them provide about the same level of protection. Just buy a good name brand set and call it "good enough".
