CRX GSR to LS swap
So I am looking at picking up a friend's CRX that has a GSR swap with a blown motor. Since I am kind of poor and I can get an LS motor cheaper than another GSR, would that be a direct swap? I believe it has a P72 ecu, that would need to be swapped also correct?
direct swap, minus the wiring, ecu, and such. Do you get the entire engine? if so what is "blown"
you can sell the head, throttle boddy, sensors, distributor and it probably will pay a third of a new LS

If the head is good, it could be good times putting it on the LS, or trading it for a B16 head.
Wiring should be the same.
Just no vtec or IAB connection on the LS motor.
Run an OBD1 LS ECU.

Not exactly sure what is wrong with the motor, but I was told it wont even start and has super low compression on 2 cylinders. He said he took it to a shop for the swap a few yrs ago and the guy screwed him and the gsr motor that was put in smoked and burned oil from day 1 of the swap...
