Default 2001 Accord Passenger mirror (Please help ASAP!!)

Hey all, first time poster, long time viewer.

I have an issue that after tirelessly searching the forums I haven't been able to find an exact answer for, most are extremely close but not what I'm looking for.

My wife's 2001 Accord EX (power windows) had the passenger side mirror glass and casing either stolen or knocked off by the apartment complex kids. I wish I could snap a picture but it's pitch black right now. Best thing I can give you guys is this: the glass, and the part that holds the glass is gone. What remains is the housing, and the two white pegs that rotate in and out to adjust the mirror angle. Along with the white pegs there is what appears to be a center post of sorts that has some goop on it that isn't adhesive but seems like a lubricant maybe? It looks to be fully intact and not have any damage as well.

What my question is, is it possible to find and replace just the glass and casing? I have found that autozone sells the entire mirror assembly for around $65 in unpainted black (which is fine for me) but I don't have the time nor schedule with Thanksgiving coming up and two kids under 4 to replace the entire assembly. Mostly is it possible to replace just the glass, and if so how does it go on? I'd rather just run to the local pull-a-part and pop one off if it's possible being that we leave early thursday morning and have a long drive ahead of us.

Thanks for the help.
