I'm doing a custom cluster install and have to cut away plastic from the gauge cluster so that the top light (that illuminates the cluster from the front) doesn't have a plastic shield, instead the cluster shroud will be the shield. it needs to block light from passing through the cluster shroud. i was thinking black paint, or tin foil. does anyone know of something that would work well?
