93 prelude si no power to the starter solenoid switch
Well my gf's Junky prelude is being stupid again it won't do anything when the key is turned I hooked to solenoid to a toggle switch (yes its rigged) but it'll start that way I'm wondering what would cause that wire not to get power and before everyone says main relay I've tried 3 working ones. I'm thinking ignition switch the wire goin into the harness looks ok. Which wire on the ignition switch controls the solenoid switch.
Thanks
Thanks
I've been more than kind to this car its been a genuine pos and it still needs more I think my Probe GT is more endangered just how many do you see driving arounnd anymore
I've replaced
Water pump
Belts
T-belt
Balance shaft belt
Flywheel
Clutch set
Tps
Coolant temp sensors
And fan switch
Wheels tires
Ball joints tie rods
Control arms upper
Drop springs
Exhaust Greddy
Alarm
Did the ELD gauge cluster swap
Main relay thermostat
Engine mounts
Slave cylinder
Oil pan gasket valve cover gasket
Dizzy oring
Plugs wires NGK
Cap and rotor
Brakes all the way around axles
Crank pulley
Blah blah blah
All in less than a year she's had it...it was really ragged out by who had it last
I've got power at the switch when I turn the key but I got nothing at the 7.5 amp fuse
Got an idea where this relay is? Could it be her alarm that is causing this?

Yes it could be alarm, depends on how its wired. I would look at the clutch interlock switch, as that is what brings in the starter cut relay. Could be bad switch or out of adjustment, I know mine is a bit ticklish about the clutch being all the way depressed before it closes that switch. To test it, you could unplug that switch and put a jumper wire in the harness-side connector to bypass it. I would start at that clutch switch cause I know where that is. The relay looks like it is in the under-dash fuse panel in the upper left corner, according to the Honda maintenance manual.
