Clunking sound from engine bay
hi all, i'm new here. i just got my honda civic ferio EG8 with D15B Auto transmission. 3 weeks after i got it, i sent it for servicing due to my radiator was blocked and caused the temperature level to rise up. after done with the servicing, in 3 days time, another problem occurs.
my air-cond fan suddenly malfunction and the next day, my check engine light goes on with an irritating noise coming out from my engine bay.
the noise sound kinda like "a coin being shake in a can quickly" when the RPM meter goes below 1, but it will gone when the RPM hits 1000 and above. the noise will not appears all the time.
anybody here ever encounter this kind of a problem?

No A/C condensor fan will result in high head pressure, [in A/C compressor not engine head] that will result in damage to the compressor, it is the first thing I would check along with what OBD trouble codes are stored.
If AlC compressor is on it's own belt, remove the belt and see if noise is still there. 94

i've checked my a/c and the problem was there was a fuse burnt. so when the a/c guy changed the fuse the a/c is back and running.
at the moment the clunking sound is still there and it's kinda like coming out from the back of intake manifold or something. will try to go for ECU checks tomorrow.

Is the noise only there while your driving, or when the engines running at idle, while turning? When does it happen?
Edit: just read your post again it happens when rpm drops below 1k rpm..maybe somethings loose, or your motor mounts might be bad, maybe your valves need to be adjusted, its hard to tell without hearing the noise
