is there any way to distinguish if i have a legit set of oem fog lights? i was told from the person i bought it from they weren't oem but on the back of the plastic it clearly says honda. thanks!

 

A lot of aftermarket parts will say HONDA or CIVIC on them because that's the car they're for.

IIRC they should say STANLEY somewhere on them, likely the glass lens.

'99-'00 fog light bezels also are generally a gunmetal-ish color if OEM. If they're black, they're not OEM.
