ok so my buddies and i just dropping in an obd0 ZC in my friends 90 ef lx that previously had a d15b2. so when my friend got the motor it came with the si engine harness but when we tried connecting the engine harness to the plugs at the shock tower there was an extra plug. also on the driverside shock tower the plug didnt match up and there was the plug for the resistor box which we dont have. so my question is can we buy a CRX si underdash or "subharness" harness and it will plug with with our si engine harness? we have a pm6 ecu already.

any advice or comments are appreciated! :D

 

yes you can buy the crx si cabin harness and everything will plug up

Well I guess I shouldn't say it's completely wrong info, it's just misleading.


Completely wrong information. A crx harness will not just plug into your sedan (I'm guessing because u said LX). In order to make the Si harness plug in, you will need a 90-91 Civic EX main harness. The crx harness will not function with your dash harness.

Your best bet is to modify your stock LX harness to accept the new motor. I make these harnesses is you need on feel free to pm or txt me:
