Discontinued Toyo Proxes T1R...need new Tires!

Hey guys. I need your input on tires. So toyo discontinued their proxes t1r for 195-50-R15 sized tires. That is pretty much what I would use since I was able to slam the car with them without rubbing issues and they gripped really well. I was looking at the toyo proxes R1R and am thinking to go that route. Anyone have any experience with them?
Any other thoughts on tires that are not meaty like azenis?
