Default 96 Accord EX V6

i want to do a f22 swap into my v6 accord since my c27a4 motor is running like crap and the tranny is not shifting anymore unless i go from 2 to D3...yes it's a 4 speed automatic that runs like crap...i heard that the v6's front is a little bit longer than the f22 accord chassis's front....if i want to do this swap would it pretty much be a straight swap or do i need to get different motor mount besides the vtec wire?...i know it's a stupid question but don't know much about accord...bought it for dirt cheap as a beater

The C27 is a 90* V6 and is wide, this is why Honda had to elongate the nose on the 94-97 cars. In 98 Honda switched to the 60* J series V6, and was able to maintain same body panels between I4 and V6. Unless you have time/money/patience it is probably not worth your time to install a non C series into the V6 CD chassis.

Now if you could find a nice C35 drivetrain from an Acura RL...
