Default Fuel Injector Air Control Valve and Vacuum Line Routing, 2000 Ex

My friend bought a 2000 Civic Ex and the prior owner blocked off numerous vacuum lines, idle air control valve, etc. Everything is straightened out now except for the FIA valve. It's located on the thermostat housing and one vacuum hose routes to intake manifold right before the injectors. I'd like to "see" where the other hose routes to. A diagram I looked at showed it went to the intake but I don't have an unused vacuum nipple leftover on the intake.

If anyone could take an engine bay pic of their 99 or 00 ex civic that would be great...

Yes, the FIA hose attaches to a nipple on the intake pipe.

Thanks, that's one of the diagrams I already had on file. There is only one fitting on the intake arm and currently the PCV hose from the valve cover is routed to it. So I don't have an additional fitting for the FIA vacuum line.

The car has a stock intake arm on it, but I'm not sure if it's the wrong one (from a different model) or if the PCV hose from the valve cover is supposed to route elsewhere on the engine. I've seen numerous PCV hose setups routed to the intake arm in other vehicles.

The breather hose not the PCV hose should attach to the intake pipe.

It does, the breather hose that attaches to the valve cover fitting routes to the intake arm. There is not another fitting on the intake arm for the FIA Valve vacuum line.

Thanks I have the same problem, I bought a 2000 ex with a bad motor and the niple on the FIACV , that go's to the intake pipe was broke off. Now I need to find diagrams for the rest of the lines to make sure they are right. I will get this thing to idle right one day!

Hi, I just put a head on my 2000 honda civic and it was off of an earlier d16y8 without the FIA valve and now i have a bad vacuum leak coming from the intake manifold where it meets the head! any quick fixes or do I need a earlier intake manifold as well?
