vtec isnt a phone first of all. and second, what code are you throwing. it could be you tps sensor from the sound of it. but can be other things.

Really only checked out this thread to see how many people got mad at how vtec was spelled lol. But your problem does sound like the wires are crossed on the tps or the tps is going bad. And if the cel comes on at all the ecu should store it to be checked later so jump the diagnostic port and pull it. I believe that tps is 17.

Not a good sign. Have you tried resetting the ECU?

You can pull a fuse im not sure which one it is though and wait ten minutes. Or you can disconnect your battery for no less then 10 mins (this is what i always do)

You say you changed your TPS sensor?
...did you recalibrate it when you did?
(and are you sure you changed your TPS, cuz the bolt heads for the thing are taken off at the factory when it's installed on the throttle body so the calibration doesn't get screwed up)

...this may sound stupid, but have you checked your MAP sensor to see if it's crapping out?
(also to make sure you didn't switch the MAP and the IACV plugs for some weird reason, as they ARE the same plug shape)
^^;
...then again in that case, your car would idle like hell...

Good luck!
