why not just reinforce your stock subframe? weld some metal plates on areas that are weak, and spot/weld in areas of the subframe, if you know what i mean.

Highly unlike since the DA floor pan stamping is completely different. 90 EX gave you some very good advice, reinforcing the factory unibody with gusset plates and stitch welding would be much more effective.
