Clean title EM1 for sale
Vehicle for sale: 2000 Civic Si
Title: Clean(own outright)
Mileage: Roughly 147,xxx
Price: 7000 or best offer
Location: Penn Valley, Ca roughly located in between Sacramento and Reno
Reason for sale: I'm moving to Utah on my own, and unfortunately can't/won't take this with me.
History of the car: I purchased her from the original owner who happened to be a 60 some year old lady. The car was very stock with the only modifications being an aftermarket JVC headunit and horrific fog lights. The grill has been cut out leaving what I'd consider a soul patch to be left. This was her daily driver from day one so the car isn't perfect the paint on the hood has some minor issues, and the lip has a few scuffs.
Under my ownership: Initially I drove this car as my daily for a few months. I changed out the stock springs for ground controls while keeping the stock struts. I still have the stock springs for the new owner. I replaced the original B16A2 with a low mileage B16A around six months ago. The replacement B16 has roughly 60,xxx miles on it. I put every component from the original engine on it even the original valve cover.
In the last year I replaced both axles because the passenger side outer boot had developed a small hole. I figured being that they were over ten years old I'd go ahead and replace them. I always use Honda manual transmission fluid.
When I swapped out the engine I replaced the radiator with a Koyo radiator(not the all aluminum version), new upper and lower radiator hoses, oem timing belt, water pump, axle seals, throw out bearing, and I'm sure more things that I can't remember at the moment.
There are a few goodies on the engine. Hondata inatke manifold gasket, ligthened flywheel(don't know the brand was on the engine when purchased from my friend) and a stage 1 clutch. HE told me they all had around 8000 miles from when he had the B16 in his hatch.
I wish I could keep her, but with me going off to Utah for a minimum of two years I'm choosing to put her on the market. I leave in August so obviously there is some time before I leave. I hope to find someone who will enjoy her and take care of her like myself. The only trade I'd consider would be a tdi jetta or golf, not looking for more Honda's at the moment.
