5G Accord V6 AT shifting and tach issues
OK, my g/f's 97 AV6 is having a few issues.
Problem #1: When it shifts, it tends to linger at the original rpm and takes too long to shift, kinda like its hesitating. This may be an easy answer, but I really have no experience with automatics since I'm a purist.
Problem #2: The tach tends to jump. I know the 95-97 AV6s use the same drivetrain as the original Legend, which my parents had, and my parent's 90 Legend had this same problem. When I did my search, it seemed that it could just be a faulty ground or a loose connection, however, since I remember the problem occuring on my parents' old car (and seeing other Legends do this), I'm assuming that there's a TSB out there for this.
