i got a 92 civic dx with a LS swap. every time i switch the controls, it doesn't move to where i want it to be. all buttons work, the blower motor seems fine as i can change the settings from low to high. i can hear it switching behind the dash when i press a different button but it doesnt move and it keeps blowing out from the head postion only and wont blow to the defrost or down to the leg area when i press those buttons. anybody know whats wrong? i appreciate any input on this one as i have searched but couldnt find anything. thank you.

i would make a trip to the junk yard and buy a neqw control panel for like 10 buck

 

Sounds like the duck's are blocked or whatever tells them to switch "( Like a Switch )" is broken??

 

thanks for the replies. i would get a new climate control but it seems like its working fine. does anybody knows where "it" switches at behind the dash?

 

sonds like the system is blocked up mice like to make the ducts their homes pull the blower and see if you can see any type of debri in there
