I am looking at getting a CT Engineering "02-06 RSX" short shifter for my wife's '03 EM2 because it seems like the most cost-effective way to improve both the front-to-back and side-to-side motion of the shifter. Although a link in the FAQ thread mentions that anything for an RSX will work for these cars, I am a little hesitant to pull the trigger because I couldn't find any first-hand insight as to whether it will for sure work or not. Could someone chime in and set my mind at ease so I don't end up regretting a purchase? Thanks!

As for the CT Engineering part in request... the shifterbox between the 01-05 Civic manual (non-EP3) and DC5 (prior to '08 I believe) is 100% identical. Even the part numbers are identical. I've had both side by side, from my K-series swap. Currently, I've got the EM2 shifterbox in the car... its been modified, but at its core it is an EM2 shifterbox.
