Default Shot peening

2 questions

1. Will shot peening a part cause its dimensions to change?

and

2. Do aftermarket honda parts even need to be shot peened?

Maybe if you told us what part you're talking about and why you're asking.

what parts are you trying to shot peen?

the ONLY thing i have ever shot peened/thought about shot peening are my OEM rods, after market engine parts are usually forged so there is no need for shot penning.

We dont even know your plans for the motor or anything, but OEM rods are good to shot peen and you can even get away with your everyday domestic machine shop guy doing the work.
