Icon2 ls or gsr crank need help

what up guys so im building a turbo set up and i have a gsr block b16 head
so i have eagle rods and they dont fit my gsr crank because they are for ls/b20
i dont know what to do
i was told to just drop my crank go ls crank and just be "stroked" and it will make more power and more torque
and its cheaper then buying new gsr eagle rods
what do u guys think i should do?
goal is 325- 350whp
all replies appreciated thanks guys

This Is the setup i had in my last integra. The LS crank adds a bit more stroke to the motor, and increases the displacement roughly 40cc.

Granted, I had a 2.0 sleeved motor, but it included CP pistons and LS length Manley rods paired up with a micro polished LS crank/ OEM bearings inside of a GSR block.

It adds a bit more torque due to the increase in the stroke but not much. It is a drop in mod as long as you have the LS sized rods, which you do.

You'll be ok. And if the motor is completely stock, including compression, then you should have no problem breaking 300whp.

Good luck to you

what is the razor edge crank do? like when they edge it to be sharp is that good or bad on a daily driver boost

Knife-edging is a process that a machine shop will do to a crank that will basically remove a lot of material from the crank counterweights, which are the large cast portions of the crank that connect the main bearing journals to the rod bearing journals. They will remove the material at an angle and the result looks similar to a knife's edge, hence the term. The overall result is the crank has less weight, so it will spin faster easier (but also lose revs faster) and the 'knife-edge' will also cut through the air and oil easier, in effect reducing the parasitic drag from these variables.

For a daily driver, it's not worth it.

Yea, LS cranks are pretty strong so you should have no problems at those power levels.

Good luck to ya buddy
