engine cuts out at 3500 rpms
I recently did a head swap on my 92 Accord. I swapped it for a f22b1 head. Now that I finally received the exhaust I can start it. It idles around 1000-1200 rpms but will only rev to 3500 and when I drive the car, it will stall or bog out; like the gas was shut off to the engine. It will then began to have a bouncing idle from 1500-2000 rpms (rev up then drop continuously).
At first I thought maybe I had not bolted my down pipe to the header tight enough. Then I thought maybe it was my hoses, but I could not find a good diagram for a 92 accord and a 97 to compare to. I have also read that my cps (crank position sensor) might be loose, but I can't find it. Idk, any advice or direction would be great.

Odds are you're throwing a code 'cause it sounds like it's in limp mode. What's the code ?
Is it safe to assume you ran the extra 2 vtec wires to the b1 ecu ?
Do a google images search for f22a1 and f22b1 vacuum diagrams. Run them correctly. Check for vacuum leaks.

It's really easy for the vtec pressure switch pin to not make it properly into the connector. Make sure to open up the guard on the connector before trying to put the pin there, then close it. I mangled mine all to hell before I realized that the guard opens up.
