Default serious oil consumption. d16

so i did an oil change on my 00 civic 3 weeks ago, check the oil yesterday and its nearly dry.

i used 10/30 synthetic, a friend of mine said to switch back to dino oil, i need some opinions...

if thats just way too excessive, im going to sell the car, if its somewhat normal for these to consume oil, whats the best ways to make sure it burns less?

and i checked, it has a small leak, but not enough to go through that much oil in that short of a time.
