Icon2 89 LX Sedan, Blown D15b2 replacement Engine Question

Ok i got a 89 Lx sedan DPFI D15b2 Blown

my question is can i put any single cam engine and put the DPFI and still use the same ECU ? Linke a D15b7 non Vtec ?

Yes. The only issue you will run into is that the obd1+ blocks have the fan censor in the thermostat housing while the d15b2 will have it in the block. Just need to extend 2 wires and add plug.
