Down sizing rotors on aftermarket calipers question
I have some WP racing 6 piston calipers on 14" rotors on my 5 lug ek hatch.
I can only fit 18" wheels on them because the rotors are so big and have no clearance.
I want to downsize rotors to something smaller like 10" or 12" so i can fit smaller wheels like 16" wheels. I am wondering what i need to do in order to be able to use smaller rotors with the same brake calipers.
I am using the same bracket that came with the brakes and rotors. I was wondering if i can use a different bracket like the ITR ones or acura legend or some other type? or can I change the knuckles and use stock ITR, legend, or prelude V rotors?
I am aware of having to use spacers on the hub if they are thinner so they line up good with the calipers.
any advice would help.
I can upload more pictures if requested.
thanks in advance.

Im guessing if you want to run a smaller brake disk then you should run a smaller caliper too since with a smaller disk, the larger caliper wont grip on to it as much. I personally would change the calipers to.
the rotors are 26mm thick though. im sure there are rotors the same size or even a bit thinner. i hear about people doing that. and the thing is i really want to use the same calipers.
