So I got these extra zc sohc headers laying around that came on my jdm 91 zc sohc motor but it didn't include the downpipe...Gonna be upgrading to a whole new exhaust and was wondering if a downpipe off an eg would match them perfect and line up straight to my catalytic converter.
Im currently using my old d15b2 headers and downpipe but was just curious to see if it was also worth swapping out...Not looking to purchase any aftermarket headers but was hoping that I could squeeze out some added benefits by using the zc sohc headers instead since I already have them.
Search didn't provide any results.

That is just the top half of the exhaust manifold, i wouldn't call it a header. To answer your question, the sohc zc is just a regular Si engine with the very slightest different cam, otherwise, it is "exactly" the same. That being said, and 88-91 down pipe should fit np.
No idea if and obdI style down pipe from a newer B series will fit. btw, it will have an o2 sensor bung near the bottom of it to fit the newer style heated o2 sensor found in newer cars

^^^^ wrong! usdm 88-91 civics used a 4-1 (or collector) style exhaust manifold (with the down pipe being a single pipe)
jdm zc sohcs used a different 4-2-1 style (using a 4-2-1 2 peice header style 2 pipe into 1 pipe down pipe) and most times do not come with the down pipe.
i know this because i had one of these manifolds too but no down pipe.
to answer the question tho i do know a B-series downpipe flange bolts up but the pipe but does not clear the oil pan.. it may be possible to modify one?

i dont know how much you will notice, but i would do it. i have the single dump manifold and will be upgrading asap. i would go with stock stuff but it costs the same as buying a cheap header.
According to my friend who swapped the manifold (with all else being equal/same) he said it picked up much better with respect to low/mid range, 3k rpm area. Other than that he said there wasn't a huge increase overall, just more "pep" in normal driving conditions.

Picked up on a complete 4-2-1 d16z6 exhaust manifold with downpipe and swapped over the downpipe to my jdm zc sohc exhaust manifold...everything matched up perfect and as you can see the zc manifold is beefier than the d16z6.
just need to replace the o2 sensor and buy another nut and it will be good to go to install...finally gonna swap it for the junk d15b2 stock oem 4-1 exhaust manifold and downpipe.
