Hi guys' Does the D16Z6 automatic and manual transmission has the same redline?(fuel cut), because I bought a 95 coupe EX with stock D16Z6 aut. and im getting the fuel cut at 6500rpm also my vtec worked about a few days after buying the car, Instaled a led on the vtec solenoid wire and it never came on flooring the gas pedal until engine makes the fuel cut, I have a new oil pressure switch, cleaned the solenoid gasket screen, 4.2qtz of oil, had no dtc codes, everything is working for now and I have no clue whats the problem.

If somebody knows what else can I check would appreciate your help Thanks.

 

Did you put the LED in backwards? Diodes only allow current flow in one direction. If installed in the wrong direction, they will block current flow.

 

Not sure but I will check tomorrow'
