Default 97 DC, Power locks & power antenna problem? Not a fuse problem...

I know this is reaching, but I thought I'd ask. I have searched everywhere, but I couldn't find any other post with the same issue...

Would anyone know what could be the cause of a power lock & power antenna problem? It was sporadic at first, but now neither work. I have checked fuses, but to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks...

Check the fuse, fuse 6 - 20A, [hot at all times] in under dash fuse box, use a test light on both test tips of the fuse, if there is power on both, the fuse is good, you will then need to access the Power Door Lock Control Unit and check the white/green lead going to it, [main power], the same with the power ant., unplug it and test the leads in the plug, one is ground, one is 12V constant, [hot at all times, main power] the 3rd one is the control lead it is 12V when radio is on. 94

I checked fuse 6, but haven't tested the other locations. I was afraid you were going to say test locally on the PDLCU and the antenna plug. Since they are in the same circuit, would a shorted motor on either actuated components, cause this type of issue? But then, a shorted motor should cause a fuse to blow...

Yes, a shorted motor would blow a fuse, if the fuse is good then more then likely it is a connection problem.

You will need to test at the PDLCU and ant. plug to confirm, then you will have to work back from them to see where circuit is "open". 94
