Default OBD2 GSR block, b16 head in OBD1 civic. Running rough. Any tips?

I had an obd1 jdm b16a in my eg for the past 3 years. Motor had a skunk2 manifold and throttle body, nothing else much. Motor ran great, blew headgasket, decided to swap for something better. Car was tuned on a p28 with s300.

Fast forward to today, got my sleeved, built, gsr block with an obd2 b16a2 head installed.
I used my old dizzy and injectors. Everything else pretty much was bolt in/snap on.

Start it up, it runs very rough, misses, and won't idle. I'm about 99% sure all the plugs are in the correct spots. I used a color diagram from online.

I took it out for a test drive, it's missing quite a bit, doesn't feel as powerful as it should. There's definitely something wrong.

No CEL.

Any ideas?

Did you get it re-tuned? Timing correct?

I didn't get it re-tuned yet or check the timing. I just got the motor in a few hours ago.
I'm sure the timing is a little off, as I just lined the dizzy up to the center bolt holes.

I think it should still at least idle. :-/

Its a fresh sleeved motor.....and your driving it before checking timing and having it tuned?

Seems like a waste of thousands of dollars...tune it before you hurt it please

Specs...compression/injectors etc?

Id imagine your most like on a much higher comp piston on the built engine..which means its going to run like **** on the old tune.....id just tow to a tuner and call it a day...

Sorry, I wasn't clear. The motor is used. I bought it from another h-t member.

It's built for turbo, 83mm Benson sleeved, CP 9.1 pistons, Pauter rods, ARP hardware, ect.
I just swapped it in to make sure it ran good before I put my turbo setup on.

I only took it out around the block. I'm going to have it towed to my tuner this week so they can inspect everything and re-tune it.

Just get it tuned for the new setup.

It's probably going to be a few weeks (maybe couple months) before I can get my turbo setup ready to go. I think I'm just going to get an n/a tune for now so I can actually drive it while I'm waiting.
