2009 Honda Pilot Touring- Paint Problem, please help?
Hi there, new here. I'm having an issue with my white 2009 Honda Pilot Touring's paint job. Any help would be appreciated.
The paint job throughout the entire vehicle has strange splotches/areas that are extremely dull and almost gray looking. Looks like oxidation, giving the car a very "dirty" look. I have tried to wash any residue off the car, but nothing seems to be working. I purchased the car at a Honda dealer, certified pre-owned and paid for an extended warranty in April of this year. The problem started the first time we washed the car after purchase. Should I bring the car to the dealer? Is there any chance the warranty will cover it if it is a clear coat failure or some other paint issue?
So frustrating.
Thanks in advance.

Pictures would help, but taking it to the dealer should be a first priority. 2 years old and failing paint? Unless you wash your car using lacquer thinner every other day, I'd say that's a manufacturer problem.
