95 brake light out...?

Default 95 brake light out...?

hey HT i just picked up a 95 coupe, but just notice brake lights out. checked the bulbs, there all okay. and checked the fuses, all is fine. (20a under hood) all the other lights works perfectly, just wondering what some stuff i could do to fix it or do? thanks

Get down under the dash and locate the brake-light switch at the top of the brake pedal. Pull the two connectors from the switch and touch them together.

Is there a spark, and do the connectors get hot quickly? If YES, then the switch is dead. If YES, post back here BEFORE removing the switch from the vehicle!

the connectors on the lights may not be making a connection. autozone and advanced have a little connector fluid pack on the checkout counter for like $1.59 that you put on the male and female connectors to help them conduct a better connection

I would not advise the use of such potions. Honda's connectors fit quite snugly indeed, and need no chemical help.
