Hey all, where can i find black interior for EK. I need LHD interior. WHat models came with the black interior. SI? EX? Or where can i find them online.. thanks
1996-2000 Civics in the US never came with a black interior. The options were only tan (sedan only), light gray (sedan, hatch and coupe) and dark gray (hatch and coupe - including the Si).
You're going to need to skip Japan too since theirs are all RHD. This will cut out most importers who have the parts available (but they'd be the incorrect RHD).
The only place I can think of that you might be able to get parts from is maybe some places in Europe. I can't think off the top of my head what trim levels have it, but most countries in Europe (not the UK or Ireland) are LHD.
You're going to have a tough time tracing down that black LHD dash. Some of the other panels you could probably purchase from cars from Japan though.

Purchasing from Honda would be very expensive and likely impossible from Honda of America.

We Never got the EK9 ..>
but we got a variant of the SIR II Civic Ek which all came with black plastics and black leather.
like this
aaaand like this (bought the car with that steering after accident... picked up another one with working airbag recently)
the 96-98 had no airbag. only 99-00 .
but besides the physical RHD Dash.. if there's other plastics which you guys battle to find in black , I could probably ship them around ?

The VI-RS had slightly different interior. the panels and seats were the same shape, except the back seats on ours didn't have the cup holder/ arm rest section in the middle.
But the rest of the sedan parts with Electric windows should be the same. Shipping there is the tough part... it costs an Arm and a Throat to ship anything there from SA .. (well to me anyways... your exchange rates make it a little more pleasant on your side. )
