Default USDM B20Z Emissions Test Results (TX), Phearable basemap.

First a little about the car. The vehicle is a 1995 dc2 gsr, the powerplant is a 1999 B20z mated to a 98 type r transmission rebuild by spoon to oem specs with oem itr lsd. Mods are simple, Passwordjdm whale ***** intake, jdm itr header, jdm itr cat, mugen twin loop exhaust. All tuned with a chipped p28 ecu.

Previously the tune was hondata for my other setup on b18c1/ls crank b16 pistons and jun 3's. Since the motor is basically stock this time around and I am tired of adjusting fuel maps I ordered a basemap from http://phearable.net/ and could not be happier.

Car is consistently getting 24-27 mpg which a stock crv is rated at 21mpg (of course I have considered the heavier less aerodynamic shape of an light suv) I feel pretty proud of this given the gearing and the fact that I am running pretty high rpm at hwy speeds, The motors running around 14 a/f ratio on the innovate wideband o2 gauge.

Initially the plan was to do a street tune to touch up the rough spots but i've seen almost no point.

Anyways, emissions time rolled around and instead of going eh...less than legal routes I decided i'd try my luck with the ASM test here in Texas. At first a few shops told me no due to the car being rather low, something I had been meaning to fix regardless so I raised the whole thing to about 1.75 in the front and 1.5 in rear.
Texas of course is not the strictest of states and actually are a little lax on some stuff. Did the basics and checked timing new plugs and a fresh oil change.

The inspector couldn't really get the hang of my ATS single disk carbon clutch and asked if the car was equipped with an LSD. As a result I don't think he felt comfortable dynoing the car which initally made me nervous due to the basemap and how I was unsure of how exact the tune was at idle/not underload. The inspector did an emissions test via the sniffer at idle and then at 2600 rpm.

Anyways the car aced the test and passed with flying colors. Im attaching the results for those who are curious as well as the plugs which are about 7800 miles on them.

High Speed:2651rpm Low Speed:910rpm
Standard Current Standard Current
HC(PPM) --- 220 --- 27 ----- 220 --- 100
CO(%) --- 1.20 --- 0.01 ----- 1.20 --- 0.00
CO2(%) --- >6 --- 12.9 ----- >6 --- 14.1
O2(%) --- >6 --- 15.4 ----- >6 --- 14.7
NOx(PPM) --- >6 --- 0.00 ---0.00
DILUTION(%) --- >6 --- 12.9 ----- >6 --- 14.1

Major props to the guys at Phearable for a fantastic basemap. I am not saying all basemaps are equal and will get such results but this time around they were spot on.
