2004 Civic A/C Heater Blower Motor not working
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2004 Civic 1.7 EX
Initial symptoms are that the blower motor does not operate (on any setting)
n HVAC DTC test revealed Code 12 - A problem with the blower motor circuit
1) Blower motor works when test benched.
2.) All fuses are working.
3.) The A/C Heater Blower Control Switch was replaced with no effect (the part that was referd to as a AC power Transistor here:
https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-2001-2005-78/diy-how-fix-ac-power-transistor-2041582/ )
4.) When I turn the iginiton key to on, the blower motor spins for half a second. I hear relays clicking in the under hood fues block.
Another post on the Accord forum mentioned that there were relays in the circuit for the blower motor. Does the Civic also use a relay and how do I locate that relay?

One of the steps, here= https://honda-tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2964425
(#21) states "Remove the blower motor relay from the fuse box under the hood and test it. "
My searches on the forum(s) have found no test procedures for the relay.

Apply battery positive to one of the indicated terminals and ground to the other. You should hear and feel the relay click when power is applied.
