Default ground locations for 91 hatch with b16

sorry for the repetitive posts.

but anyone have a reference pic of where all the grounds should be?

right now i have my battery cable at the shock tower. trans to chassis, and i DID have the Valve cover to core support ground but i used that to put as my trans to chassis one. so the VC one isnt there as of right now.

also as far as my ecu? with the ecu jumper how many grounds need to go to the thermostat??

no grounds from the ecu jumper are supposed to go to the thermostat housing. the ones from your ecu jumper are for you to connect them to switches such as:
o2 sensor
vtec solenoid

the ground on the thermostat is already wired in through your stock engine harness.

you need those 2 grounds at the thermostat just leave them be.

you could take the wire from your jumper and ground it to a good, clean, paint free spot (scratch off the paint) and attach to a major structural panel of the vehicle

it should be, VC to core support, trans to chassis = neg battery terminal to chassis then trans, and the thermostat ground.

So my neg battery terminal to the shock tower is ok? Just add the vc to core support again. And currently remove the ecu ground at the thermostat and ground it somehwere else

why remove the thermostat housing ground? just leave it there and if you need to add a different ground near the ecu.

and the neg terminal should be alright i guess, never seen it there before.

i now have power to everything.
dash lights seem bright and less dim then they were. headlights, tails, etc come on fine.

the starter works fine out of the car, but once installed all it does is click.

Woot for some progress!

So have you tried jumping power to ground on the starter solenoid yet?

**update as of 7:03 pm**
main relay resoldered. all connections good. installed into car. fuel pump primes stronger.
attached positive from the push start to the battery and grounded it to starter, and still same result.
starter will be removed and tested at local auto parts store
