I had an idea like that but to much body work to fix all the rust.

I hope to have this done soon and should still look pretty cool

here in quebec this generation is so hard to find. SO we dont use one for build a trailler

 

Down here we do what we want.

 

I know its hard to see one cut up like this but it was in such bad shape with rust and the motor was locked up... It had to be done

plus it is going to look so good once it is done

yet your donor is a hatch how are you going to make the trunk area?

 

I have plans of using the lower part of the hatch and making a hard top cover... Not vinyl like the others

 

cant wait for an update!!

 

Trailer has been gutted... no more brakes, brake lines, gas tank, lights bumper mount or drain plugs
waiting on a section of body panel to repair some rust

Working nights over the weekend and into the week... thanks giving coming up also... it will be a little while before I get to work on it

 

I'm sad to see a classic get cut up, but I like the idea. If done correctly, it's gonna look really nice!

 

This will be fantastic. Maybe I should make one for my STi. Hmmmmmm

Yeah that is but going to try to make it look a little different with a hard top lid, and move the bumper in real tight

 

That hurts to see...but it is one of a kind, id do different things with it but everyone want different things
