Default thinking about buying a Honda HDS. worth it?

hi guys,

i used to work at a honda dealer at 2004-2005 and while working there i used the old vetronix oem PGM scan tool, which connected to the 3 wire connector of the 90's hondas. it was gr8.

just when i left the dealer i came across the HDS and i never had time to mess with it,

does the HDS work on OBD1 hondas?
on all the pictures of the HDS i came across with, it seems like there is a 3 wire female connector, but i'm not sure.

i cant find alot of info in thw software or screenshots or even youtube vids,

can cnyone shed some light on this device?

thanks

It will be useless to you . It has to upload its history every month or it locks you out of it . It can be rather fussy at times and that is why Honda does not support it any more . I never tried it on old obd1 cars though . I imagine if there is an adapter it would work .
