Not knowing what year you have that would be hard to tell.....theroies with no information. The ECU is "sometimes" getting readings from other sensors telling it one thing and the ect is telling something else...set fault. Move on and fix it? Sorry not trying to be an a**.

95 ex... It threw a cel which told me there was an issue... Just weird its not all the time since its snapped.... Hopefully fixing it will put me back at 30mpg
